my nc makes my 10ae with a lot of suspension work feel old and disconnected and slow on the twisties. it is literally a whole different league of handling. and its faster. and it holds less stuff lol. ironically the 10ae made my protege with literally 6k in suspension and braking mods feel like a janky piece of s*** too

i honestly have no comparison with a stock nc. 3 days after i bought it i re did the nc's suspension. i had just puttered around town stock. and yes it does feel squishy, but even my roommate, who had a modded msm, much prefers the handling and feel of the nc, and his is sky high and stock. the confidence, solidity, and sophistication of the 5 link rear makes it feel more planted and you don't get the unsettling in turns without butter smooth pavement.driven all three the NC just feels squishy compared to my NB and all the NA's i have driven
what at all does that have to do with me? i was the same person driving several different cars? not 3 different people in 3 different cars, all with admittedly artificial numbers? Also no one can argue with the advances in the nc's suspension over the na/nb. out of the box they are as fast as, and handle as well as an msm. put lowering springs on them and they leave them behind. there is hard data, including skid pad, autocross results, and independent testing that verifies this.I'm going to have to say you must not pick your mods well...
Have you read this, all of them!

ok, be a gigantic douche bag, insult my choice of automotive modifications, and then link me to an ambiguous article thats 20 pages long, all because I commented on a pretty well known fact? awesome. glad to have met you. Also the article has nothing to do with the difference in miatas? I have autocrossed. My protege was a very fast autocross car. so was my protege before that. i'm sure my nb would have been too before a lady totaled it, but alas summer in phoenix means all of the racing is hours away, and i work 70-80 hours a week. I know how to make a quick autocross car. the nb had revalved bilsteins, h&r race springs, racing beat chassis bracing f/r, upgraded sways, x braces, and a very aggressive alignment. my mx5 has oem bilsteins and mazdaspeed springs. and it handles better. i'm sorry that that apparently offends you.
here's a great article for you to read:
http://industrialstrengthscience.blogspot.com/2008/05/second-thoughts-mazdaspeed-nb-miata-vs.html
and I know it's hard to accept that 20 years of development could have POSSIBLY resulted in a better than your suspension that is almost identical to a 1990 miata minus bilsteins and some chassis bracing.

It's a forum, and the internet, and you're getting mad? (cool)
I was just posting an article that relates every aspect of suspension of a car and you failed to read it. It is truly a great collection and since the guy has won national championships I'm not opposed to listening to him.
Congrats on your mods, really. But if your 6K in mods couldn't make your car 6K faster then regardless how much you think they should have helped, they didn't.
I understand that you're too busy to read, but if you choose not to read, why are you on a forum asking me to do the same? I read your entire article, and it makes great points, but saying you can't overcome a z-fold top with a much less expensive car with more mods available is ridiculous. /rant
I read your article, read all of the one I posted.
