The parking lights I got on ebay (shortly after I banged up the front) for around $40.
I haven't looked in a while..but ppl keep inquiring, because they are pretty hard to find!
I went to change the air filter and attempted to unplug the sensor from the top of the airbox but in the process discovered previous owner idiot did the same but FORCED it all back together causing the pins to bend and touch and break and everything
SO i am thinking that is what was causing my 1200-2000 RPM idle. Cause now i idle at 3-500 except it is SUPER SUPER SUPER rough
Any ideas? I have tried to bend the pins back to normal but i don't think they are all contacting.
Am i up sh!t creek? Can i get just the plug? Or do I need a whole new assembly? I've done all i can with adjusting the pins and i can't get the car to run right

I'd just run by the local scrap yard. One out of a 1st gen protege, RX7, miata or IIRC ford escort will work. They're plentiful and cheap enough. Did you try to unplug it by using the screws??
Alright, the box might be ok cause it starts and idles. . .. but the CEL is on
I pulled all the plug wires and the 4th or 1st (whichever is closest to the passenger cmpartment) and the plug wire cover is coated in oil so i don't think cylinder 4 is firing at all now cause it's spewing gas out the tailpipe and smells the whole garage like gas
It will idle and not die, just feels like it's missing a cylinder
I can rev and it doesn't die, just stumbles REALLy bad and spews gas out the back
SO i think the filter/airbox is fine. I pulled the plug wire and its coated in oil. I dip the deep socket in to unscrew the spark plug and it's flooded with oil
The socket is halfway covered with oil. I pull out the plug and it's totally emmersed in oil
and THANK you for that pic, helps alot!! lol.
There is a 91 miata at a local scrap yard about 10 miles away i am gonna try to check out. Guy has no idea what's still left on the car though.
So new box and just plug the connector in will fit that anyways just in case.
But i gotta figure out why the spark plug is swimming in oil
