What have you done to your Miata today?

Got the MSPNP2 for 94-95 cars (since the ecu terminals have been swapped from 96 OBDII to 94-95 termianls for the link system

Nice piece.

Now I get to figure how to splice the intake temp sensor and electronic boost controller into the Megasquirt.

Shouldn't be too difficult though, i can't wait to have a car that's running to most of it's potential!! (minus dyno tuning for the full deal)

Awesome! A MS is one of the few plans I have left for my Miata!

They are a lot of fun to fiddle with. It can be frustrating, and it's certainly enough rope to hang yourself with, but the ability to tune and adjust things just the way you want is really rewarding.

Coming from the Link, it should be a little easier to fiddle

And i've got Andrew (from treasure coast miata who did an MSM swap in his NB1 and is running a megasquirt) offering to help me if i need it, so i "SHOULD" be all set, just waiting on the laptop from work. I can't log onto it without having an account setup, so i wait

Oh, it's supremely easy to fiddle, thus why it's so dangerous :)

Buy TunerStudioMS and MegaLog Viewer. Worth every penny, no question.

Yeah, Andrew suggested registering the Tunerstudio, so i bought a license for that

Holy crap, Tylor still has his Miata! (headbang)

Picked up the reworked head last night. Got everything back together today (started after lunch). Took a short test drive, everything seems to be ok. I did find some minor weeping at a couple of the injector O-rings which may be causing the gas smell under heavy throttle. Sent a message to 5-O Motorsports to see if they have replacements available. At least I'll get to drive her a few times before I go back to work next week.

Can't say i havn't tried to sell lol

but I did the install, but when i went to wire up the temp sensor in in the charge pipes (right before the throttle body). . . it wasn't there. . . . nor can i find a temp sensor in the piping anywhere.

So i ordered the GM IAT from DIYautotune which should be here this week some time and then cut a hole in the charge pipes and JB weld the bung in then attempt to tune when it's cured.

Make sure you drill the hole in the pipe somewhat smaller than the diameter of the bung (ideally, the sensor body) especially if you intend to JB weld. Ask me how I know!

Bung drop into the piping? Lol thanks for tip, I'll keep it in mind

Had a racecar swallow part of a sensor mount... nothing like pulling an all-nighter before race day to pull the head and fish metal bits out of the engine...
