Nope. Should I? The door bars from the cage will intrude pretty heavily into the door's air-space. I painted the inside of the door, but I doubt I'm going to do anything else.

Was wondering if you were worried about cutting yourself on the door frame?

Drove mine around a bit yesterday. Can't wait till the ambient temp is a little warmer. Tire spin from the first 5 redlights until they warm up a bit, while fun, is getting annoying.

Not with the door closed, no. The cuts are well forward and aft of where our elbows are. It is a slight concern with it open though, so I will be putting some trim to go around the edges. I also used the grinder to knock down what sharp-edges there were, but I know I didn't get it all.

ran sunday at streets of willow. got the track set up on but instead of doing the federal 595 RS-Rs I went with falken azenis 615Ks because the company i was going to get the tires from sold the last set the day I was going to pick em up and left me scrambling to get tires with only 2 days left before the race. Those tires held up well though and i was able to run a 1:39.1 as compared to my previous best on this track about a year ago of 1:43.6. good improvement but not 1:37 i was aiming for. maybe at the next event I will hit the mark.

Cut off the old e-brake cables, realized I have lost the clips for the e-brake cables somewhere.

Ordered a Flyin' Miata Stage 2 suspension kit and some salvage differential retainers. Going to order brake lines and e-brake cable clips soon.

Finally arrived back home. 1500 miles dragging the miata behind the rig. She needs a little cleaning though.

Installed all new e-brake cables and painted new re-man rear brake calipers black.

decided to keep it one more year instead of ditching it for an RX8 (at least till we have a house and garage)

Now to begin cleaning in preps for Miata-palooza . . . 325 miatas confirmed so far
