What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Alright I will stop posting on the subject. I just thought I would keep everyone in suspense. lol. Though keeping either car would both have its pros and cons. I just need to hurry up and sell that way it will be final.

i actually read it in my mind as the sentence stopping as "wont get rusty." i had to re read it, then i lawld.

i am currently enjoying the damp weather and the fact at all season tires start to loose their effective-ness below 7 degrees celcius

Finally buffed off the wax that has been on it for four days. Also treated the leather, just need to do the vinyl/plastic and that's it.

I searched and could not find, so I submit to the speed6dieties:

what is the part number for that plastic front diffuser or where is a site i can find this at?

@mglavina: lemme know how that works. I got a nice pic of my car buried in snow from last winter. and it's still stock height. lol.

So, Leia threw out P0300 and P2187 tonight. Only changes I put in the car were two shims in the Forge. It got to the coldest so far this year with all my parts (18 deg F) so maybe it's something with the vacuum lines and the cold....?

sources of conclusion:
Mazda 2.3L CEL Codes on M247
OBD-II Codes

How many miles on your car?

P2187 doesn't make sense to me considering I4's only have one bank of cylinders.
As far as 0300, have you tried this: http://www.coremazda.com/tsb/mazda6/01-023-06-mil-misfire.pdf

sounds like a problem with the maf or some kind of loose connection that would cause the lean problem and a misfire. the misfire is probably related to this.

Yeah, it sounds like it was beat to hell before he bought it, and now he's been fighting an uphill battle to get it back to decent shape. I do agree that the back and forth, almost daily "mood swings" are a bit old.

i dont get it, i've never had engine problems, no mood swings, nothing but butter (and i have tracked the car a a few times as well as multiple spirited canyon runs...)... *knock on wood* Than agian, my exterior on this car has taken beatings... its cursed in that regard. SPEAKING of...

Late last week, i hit a GIANT pothole in dimly lit streets of my new neighborhood. Don't know the local roads at all, so ofc it came outta nowhere!! felt wobble in the steering wheel, was praying it was just alighnment outta wack. Monday, i go in for an Oil Change/Filter, brake inspection, alignment... i come to find out i have ANOTHER !@#$!# BENT RIM!!! damnitall. not too mention, two others seem to have slight wobbles, maybe slightly torqued from the center. FML FML FML

all this after i just PC'd the wheels, paid for unmount tires of old set, remount to new set.
After having bent & replaced a wheel already in the past, front end dmg, broken windshield, rear bumper dmg from a hit&run... all in 6 months or less.
Engine continues like butter, but exterior/wheel of this car seem to be cursed. :(

FML. Pics of new look before it HAS to change agian will appear soon.
(photo shoot was supposed to occur this wknd, but due to the new issues things changed...)
hit about 55k on the car. more  nothing good happend to my car lately, *sigh*

73k miles
i have not. Thanks for this new source of info!

And this is where I found the problem. When I installed the shims, apparently, I didn't screw on the top of the BPV. -facepalm-. So I removed the shims, rechecked all my hoses, and disconnected/reconnected the battery. No more code! :D

I've been collecting a datalog, and I'll post up what I have for the masses.
