What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I painted mine Tungsten Grey metallic G2 paint. It was a special Mustang color they had, but matched really well with the paint color. I would have done black had they not had the grey available.

i am tungsten grey :0!!!!!!!

so I went down a country road warming/wearing my tires F1 style. Seems like the steering response has increased a little bit... still seems a bit unstable though. I really want to like these tires. They're so quiet.

thats probably one reason your having problems with them. you have had them on for what? like 50 miles? slow it down.....

im doing so in a controlled fasion. Im trying to speed up the wear. I wasnt going particularly quickly and there were no cars at all.

Also, ive had them on for less than 10 mi already noticed an improvement though

changed my trans and pto fluids, man do those ever stink...

diff is on the list when i have another set of eyes to help guide me up the ramps.

An old VW was 3rd & a 2010 Z was 1st.


FWIW, there was and EVO X + a new Skyline in the same class as me.
So, it just goes to show you that a car that costs $10k can win out over a car that cost 4-8x's its price.

Yes.
I was saying to my wife, there's no way I'll walk away w/any trophies for either the Speed or the Miata with the competition I was up against.
And then they called 2006...I was the only one in my class w/an '06.

Also, it wasn't like some random show judges, its the folks from AACA.

For reference...everything left of the Miata was Import Stock (except for the black Sti w/the graphics)
Everything from the Miata to the right was Import Modified.
3 Mazda's total, my Miata, Speed6 & some kid in his '10 Speed3...

I dunno what I should replace that HI PSI plate with. I'm only using that because the PO had that gay bracket installed and there's holes in the front bumper...suggestions?

I really wasn't expecting it. My neighbor has a Viper truck SRT-10 and he placed. He knocked on my door & was like wow, congrats...lol.
So I dunno man, the car was just ultra clean today I guess...plus a fact that its just a 2 year production seems to help.
