What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I'd love to see a profile shot of your current setup before you go with RPMs.

Current setup is stock. Im really stoked about this actually considering the stock rims weigh soo much, 18-19 pounds a rim is going to be pretty nice. and light for being 1.5 inches wider. (dance)

am thinking about getting them powdercoated white. not saying i will, but i will make a chop to see if i want to. opinions???

the enkie site says that every pound of unsprung weight is like 20 lbs of mass.
SO if stock is around 22-23, then i should be saving 3 lbs a corner. thats 12 lbs of unsprung weight and about 240 lbs of mass. But i don't believe that fully though... (wrc)

Changed my oil. I am having an off day. Dropped my drain plug in the oil, dropped my old oil filter in the oil, got oil all over the undercarriage from that of course, car smells like s*** while driving since it's all over the exhaust, and now the garage floor is white as a ghost with kitty litter trying to soak it all up. (cool story bro) lol. Also forgot to mention that I put the soiled newspaper directly in the garbage can, which of course leaked all over the garage floor as well.

Well im FINALLY ready for track!!
I changed brake pads. HAwk HPS.
broke old rotors off the hub only to find they were too thin (under minimum specs, musta been turned before) and then when i got em turned they did a horrible resurfacing job which made em useless even more so. Luckily they were already too thin to use anyway, $40 resufacing wasted.

Also rear axle seal changed without a hick-up, EASY.
rear diff oil changed.
engine oil changed.
And just now got my car back from the shop who did my new rotors. Centric Performance Rotors.

the whole dilemna on why i had to choose a shop to do what i obviously coulda done myself is in my "brakes dilemna" thread, i wont re-type it.

I have been told twice already this week that there is a guy around here with a white speed6 like mine. They say he has black wheels with red in them. Only thing is he has a sunroof and that how people know its not me. I am still waiting to see this car on the road. I saw a yellow mazda 6 today with black wheels.

I found out that along with being a father today, im going to be an uncle as well..

Took "Kimbo" <---- cars nickname.. out for a ride today.. cleaned it too, although it didnt really need it, pollen isnt as bad so its nice to have a clean car for a day or 2 now..

Pulled the front bumper off the car today. Fixing the HID fogs and most likely pulling the SRI and putting the stock air box on. Already pulled the sharkfin of and put the stock fishing pole back in its place. I need to pick up a cabin air filter as well, so I'll do that once the car is back together, and start on a final clean up for some FS shots to go on Autotrader.

we should start a "what have you named your car" in the general forums.
Mine is kinda lame, named it Ruby. Mostly due to a really good family friend, he suggested it due to my cars color and fiesty-ness due to turbo and AWD. the name reminds me of a nutcase but very hot redheaded chick... fitting id say.

Not sure yet. Last I heard there's a quality hold until 6/20, so I won't bother ordering until after that. After the order is placed, it's about a 8-10 week wait before the car arrives.

Put in Denso ITV22 plugs. Very smooth running and stronger revs.
