What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

I thought speed6ixes came with power side view mirrors?

Ya they do:)

It was dark, cold, my eyes were wattery (allergies). . . I parallel park everyday so im pretty good at it. Juts wasn't paying the best attention and was my first time doing it in the first spot where the road curb curved outward to form the "parking spots." Wasn't used to not having a car next to me to get my bearings.

Other options that would have sounded cooler:

"the sun was in my eyes"...

Or, "I just had LASIK and both eyes were covered in gauze"...

Or, "I just came back from the bar and had BEER GOGGLES"...

Or, "I'm a pirate and my peg-leg got stuck in between the pedals"...

Or, "I'm really not very good at parallel parking".

All in good fun man...we've all done it once or twice anyway!

Back on track...

Washed, interior detail. Calling AutoZone for the '07 CX-7 cabin filter.

Qwik6 is a genius...

I'm a pirate, therefore with my eye patch I can only see out of one eye.

Lmao... Interested to see the exhaust tip set up for Qwik6... pics, pics, pics...

Just about settled on going with BC coilovers, gunna make the purchase when the tax returns come in :).

Hate it or love it. I hated how the magnalfows could not be adjusted to center and moved around. I could not keep them clean. So I cut off the tips and painted the stockers. Everyone does black. Decided to spice them up a bit with a red outline to match my theme with the wheels and grill. Added a couple coats of clear coat. This was VERY time consuming. Probably took me 4 hours to paint.

Edit: Next I will be smoking out these rear reflectors. I really wanna get rid of these tails and put in led's if I ever find them.

Also fixed my vacuum hose that came off going into my intake manifold. Re-routed the hose so there wasnt any pull on it like before. Also used loctites adhesive and let it set over night. This isnt coming off again. Also relocated my OCC about 2 inches higher so no more scrapping it on bumps. Then painted the turbo manifold sheild with some new high temp black paint.

In other words I had a busy day. :)

I've also heard people go from the stock Potenza's to the RE760s as a better wearing, nearly as capable perf. tire.

I've heard the 760s were supposed to be a great tire too. I would have had them if I could have waited another few weeks but my Falkens were on their last legs.

Next thing you know, MS6 owners will hang themselves Mission Impossible style from the ceiling to get to those bolts.

ordered some interior LED's (red) for the speed today. on another note i took my girlfriend out to lunch and i park near a black 2007-ish corolla S and she goes " look its your car!" my jaw drops.. as i keep looking from my MS6 to the corolla.. basically..i made her walk home.

ordered my tenzo type M's in the machined/black finish(idhitit)

now i just need to wait 2-3 weeks till they get here

who else is running these? quik6? do you require hubcentric rings?

After reading the "Oil in my TIP bad?" thread, I decided to try and get at mine. I did find some oil, not much. The bad thing was that the TIP pulled right off without me having to loosen the clamp :( Looked at the clamp and it was stripped. Bought a new one, and now no more cutting out!! (lol2)

I would recommend a silicone reducer with t-bolt clamps instead of resusing that stock coupler. We are talking about the speedie6 inlet right?

This looks amazing Qwik. I love the whole black and red theme.
Going to be a b**** keeping those clean.

I am going to paint mine black as soon as it warms up a little.

I am debating if I should go matte or gloss.

Thanks guys. After a day of driving they are still red. A little bit of black has accumulated on the bottom. I cut the magnaflow tips off to where it just meets these tips. So not much going to drip onto them.

also today cut my bump stops on my rear suspension. they guy who had the car before me never cut them! I was bottomed out just sitting there. Car ride a hell of a lot better. Its like a new car. :)
