What have you done to your Mazda5 today?

I put some on mine a few years ago. I had to cut them down twice and they still scrape everything. Best part is they don't keep the side of the car any cleaner anyway.
Installed some rally armor basic mudflaps, took a drive and i guess i out them too low cause they scraped everywhere...ended up taking them off. $20 and two hours gone.

Haha were you trying to park as close as you could to the door?
Edit meant that for the pic above yours

Finally found my problem with the reverse camera, bad RCA cable, it broke internally with no signs of being pinched, happy with the camera now plus it looks OEM

Today: got the car washed, took some scrap wood to the dump, and reinstalled the roof rack.

Past week: loaded up at various points five bags of soil/compost, lots of plants, three 55 gallon barrels, six 2x4s and one 2x6, and various other small things for the garden. If you're wondering how many barrels will fit in the 5, I fit three behind the front row.

Just notice “something” in the front end knocking/banging crazy when above ~80MPH. It is consistent and repeatable and the knocking is very loud and the vibrations can be felt through the gas pedal. I suspect something related to the FSB as it needed attention a long time ago. Might be a worn/broken end-link (didn’t look yet). Steering feels good and shocks feel good. It does seem like more and more creaks and rattles are developing in the interior and panels. Also notice the drive belt seems a bit frayed that will need attention soon and due for plugs and coolant flush. Price you pay for buying a used car I suppose… :(

I installed a homelink auto dimming mirror with garage door control back in 2010. I connected the wiring today..... (cabpatch) Also put the stock radio back in.

Better late than never.

Got underneath over the weekend to try to see where the knocking and clunking in the rear is coming from. Still not too sure, but I strongly suspect the cracked and very dry-looking sway bar bushings.

Any recommendations for better replacements?

OEM Mazdas should do the job. They've redesigned them; a lot more thicker and harder. The pic is for the FSB but the design is similar to the RSB. You will notice they've coated the inner tubing with a more waxier material for improved lubrication. Since I've replaced mine, the noise is gone.

New design on left, old one on right.

I sold my black 17" OEM alloys and replaced them with 1st generation MS3 18" OEM alloys and I love the look. So for those wondering if 1st gen MS3 wheels look good on 2nd gen MZ5 here it is...and yes they do!

Awesome, Thanks! So.... what's the difference between the two sets you posted? Front and rear, or different material/stiffness?
