What Exhuast upgrade u got????

I dont like the look of the hks. Too fart-tip looking for me. I looove my magnaflow, you can't even see the damn muffler.

The HKS still isn't as bad as the OBX and the greddy. The low angles make it look much larger, it's not that bad. I al;so found that putting some steel wool in the silencer quiets it down evern more. My car is really quiet with the silencer in, even with header and 1 cat removed.

I got the Racing Beat with a Ractive header. Sounds smooth. I love it!

I have a ractive header, 2.5inch straight pipe to a tanabe muffler. I need the silencer in at all times..... it is overly loud otherwise.

why do you have a 2.5in straight pipe? you are probably loosing power using such large piping

if you don't want a loud muffler pick up a Racing beat cat-back off some MSP member. You will just have to get a little chopped off the tail pipe and re-welded to make it not stick out so much. wish i had about an inch more chopped off mine. might get that done soon.

you probably can pick up the axle-back section pretty cheap off a member....

I had the MSP aftermarket exhaust on before the MSP factory.

I had to have it chopped becasue i had it on my sedan before i got the P5.

It was pretty loud like a lot of other aftermarket exhausts and very droning above 3K. i finally had to swap and i love the factory MSP exhaust with my SRI intake........had it on for like 3 years between both cars......

I would recommend the Megan catback.It's a 2.5" system and sounds really good.I have had it on my red P5 for almost a year now.The best place to buy it from is Altered Motorsports.His name on the board is AODfan

Hello to everyone, I am new. I have the Team Moon 2.25" cat-back exhaust. I have not found anyone else who has it. It's not stainless, it's aluminized steel. I have had it for a year and a half now, rust is not an issue on the piping or the muffler (which is stainless steel). The flanges have a bit of rust on them, not bad though. I got mine for $300. Nice deep sound. It does resonate pretty badly inside at highway speeds though. But I don't care. On the dyno, it gave about 6-7 HP for an automatic car. For a stick like mine, it might be 7-8. Not bad for an el cheapo exhaust. I will probably check out the OBX 2.5" when I go turbo.
