What does your insurence list your model as???

I recieved my statement and mine is listed as a Protege DX. This is from progressive insurence comany.

i'm with progressive as well, and this is Exactly how they list mine: 2004 Mazda Speed Prote4d

the mispelling and year are both theirs. they said they go by VIN anyways when claims are filed.

progessive listed mine as a dx until i had a accident and they discovered there is a big difference. My personal property tax says it is a dx and only worth 8000. sounds good to me really donmt want to pay the real value. I told my parents and they laughed. they were like guess it droped 13000 when it came off the lot. lol

nah, you are exactly right. looks like they have a 20 character limit on make/model.

Allstar Insurance. They go by vin and mines listed as 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege.

Yea mine says 2003 mazdaspeed protege also. Im with USAA and i would rather have it say mazdaspeed than DX or regular protege. If you ever need to put in a claim I would imagine it could work against you.
