what do you think?

did you decide to pass on it?

in todays car market, you can probably get a better deal on a better/newer car. (i don't mean brand new, but newer at least)

ah, as u can see im not too savvy on any of this....but the newer the better for who? the buyer and the seller? i can see how that works on the buyers end.

finding some better 04 ones....05 isnt exactly a leap into 'new' is it...lol

I consider the first car, the silver 2004 with 52,000 mile as overpriced. With a manual transmission at least around where I live, Wash DC, could never sell for that much. Maybe 8500. I realize the KBB say 12,500 but that is a joke and a remnant of earlier economic times.

On the having it inspected, the dealer selling it should be ok with that and not at all charge you for that. The salesman might grumble and try to quilt you with "don't you trust us" or "we do our own inspection" but do not buy it unless it is an insepction that is certified and has a guarentee behind it. If they try to charge you for taking it to a mechanicin, run away from the dealer.

Hmmmm...does the car look that 'fishy'? I mean, you wouldn't suggest I get the second car I posted checked out would you?

Come to think of it it, I guess it is the price that was in question to begin with though so I guess thats where it got fishy.
