What do you guys think I'll put down with these mods?

2007 MY MS3
MSCAI
SU Boost tubes
RPMC Turbo Inlet Pipe
ETS 3.5TMIC
Corksport DP and race pipe
Split Second Map Clamp (will come off when I receive the AP)
Fuel Pump internals
NGK 1 step colder plugs
Cobb AP running Stage2+MSCAI2 91 FMIC map

I'm going to stop and pick up some 101 octane on the way in and mix it in with the 92 I normally fill up with.....

it just seems to vary with every MS3. Some cars seem to react better to mods than others. I know it sounds crazy, but I have yet to see two dyno sheets thats are same with relative mods. I did 271/269 on that same dynojet with fewer mods than yourself

Ill guess about 285/310 since it will have an AP map on it. Sorry to say but AP cars dyno low. With very similar mods at 17 psi i made 300/335 with a stock ecu. If i had an AP i would prolly lose 10% !! LOL
Be sure to post your results.

Well what I can do it run it without the AP MAP, then load the map and run it again.....We'll see what happens....

If the AP does not bring much value to the table after I try it out, I may just sell it and run a MBC. As long as it doesn't start to run lean....

Unless you dyno stock then flash to a cobb map then wait a week to dyno again that is a very inaccurate test. Once you flash to the new map i resets you ecu completely. That means you fuel trims and all other ecu learned attributes get cleared. Most cars willrun leaner and a little more timing off of a fresh ecu reset. That will make more power... Temporarily until the ecu relearns. Trust me i have done it. Two dynos on my car, same day, same dyno 15 min apart. I reset the ecu after the first run. My AFR's were about .75 points leaner and the car made 18whp more !! You cant just flash and redyno, its not accurate. Not to mention unsafe because your ecu hasnt had a chance to learn and adapt to its new settings.

Most of the time people lose power with an AP cus they are not sticking to the specs in the map, i no for a fact cus i run an AP and i can tell it dosent run right with my mods. getting a tune upcoming weeks so hopefully thatl clear that up

did you have a tune? or were you completely on the stock ecu?..

Well if you were on the East Coast I would say 315WHP or so. But seeing as you're on the West Coast 290WHP. I swear those Dyno's on the East Coast are so friendly. ALL the big numbers come from there and most from the same Dyno in NJ o.0

I think what I'll do is dyno after I install the TIP, then install the AP software, then go to the dyno day on May 2nd....That should give me a couple of weeks in between....

IMHO, dynos vary and test conditions vary from dyno to dyno and from day to day. They vary widely.

The best use of a dyno is not to get absolute numbers for hp and torque (they are really "funny numbers" based on computer calculations anyway) , but to use the data for comparisons as to the effect of mods and to look at whether you are producing greater gains across the board or on average rather than trying to reach some particular peak numbers.

There are cars here with 230 dyno whp running low to mid 13's with proper driving, and others pushing 300 whp who can do no better, sometimes worse. Dynos vary that much.

I'd rather have a really fat, broad powerband with broad power and torque than just good looking max numbers. Horsepower is for advertizing. Torque wins races.

Let us know how you do and be sure to add you results to the dyno sticky along with your mods.
