What do YOU take with you to autocross?

that's why I'm running a chain through my street tires and the handles on my tool box. they want it, they have to steal it ALL

I don't think that's really necessary. Once, I was brilliant enough to leave half my crap sitting in the middle of the parking lot after an event, and I still got it all back.

There are some shady characters wandering around. It is the ATL after all. Still, I haven't heard of anyone missing anything, and there are a lot of wheels sitting around for the taking.

Sunscreen is the most important of all these things. I always get sunburnt no matter the type of day.

Although we had an event in a monsoon one time, extra clothes or pancho would have been nice :D

I've got a Tupperware box that I keep a lot of AutoX toys in - breaker bar, socket set, Windex, etc. - that I just load in the morning of an event and unload at the end of the day. It's an easy way to keep things organized.

Second (or third) what people have said about sunscreen, a hat, and water. Even when it's not the super hot middle of summer, it's easy to burn if you're out on course all day.

Along with what everyone else has said I also bring Hawaiian Trop SPF 75 and an umbrella.

Search, NOOB! :p

There's a thread in this section made like... 2 or 3 years ago. I made the attached spreadsheet right when I started autocrossing to make sure I didn't forget anything. Now that I'm in ST* it's not as big of a deal, but I still use it to make sure I've got my head screwed on straight before leaving for events. Take it, save it and modify it to your liking :)
Plenty of space for check marks and notes.

I tend to bring everything but an engine hoist... for a trackday. For autoxs I never brought more than a helmet and pressure gauge.

For autocross, I tend to bring:

2 Helmets (because I generally have at least 1 friend without a helmet show up)
Set of standard and metric wrenches
Set of standard and metric sockets
Allen key set
Tire pressure gauge
Cooler with several bottles of water
Sunscreen
Old blanket to leave all my stuff on.
Magnetic numbers
Me

I'm not very competative, but I bring some essentials.

I always bring a cooler full of water. It gets hot out there. I pack a poncho just incase. Air pressure gauge. A chair. Some basic tools just incase. My helmet, my SCCA card and money. Sunglasses and sunblock and a hat. That's about it really.
