what do you love\hate about your P5?

I love the car. It looks great, drives great. I even think the power is OK. I just listed the known issues alot of people have with them. I know that this car isn't perfect and will do the modifications to improve the car to make it even more to my liking.

Don't drive it for a few days, then get back in it and go for a ride on a nice twisty, curvy road. This car is just sooo fun to drive.(2thumbs) (p5yellow)

Love: Great gas mileage
Very torquey motor(for it's hp)
Gets attention especially with it's color
stock stereo system is great
turning radius is small
All the stuff I've done to it so far(mods)

Hate: Not enough power
long throws(shifting)
not a lot of aftermarket parts for it

I love the feel of the car. I hate the lack of power.
I love the look of the front. Kinda weirded out about the taill lights.
I also hate getting out of the car and being shocked. It happens every time. I'm just waiting to get shocked while pumping gas.

lol, if you hate getting shocked, it's not the P5, but your shoes!! or you could try to touch ur keys to the car after you get out, and that way you don't feel the static

I can't say I'm impressed with the fuel economy. My car gets around 28-29 mpg. I was getting 28 with a turbo'd 2.3L SOHC Ford motor running 15-18psi in my mustang-and it spent A LOT of time in boost. I'm also kind of spoiled. My wifes 94 civic averages 38 mpg, and I've gotten over 40 on trips.

They are on the pathetic side and allow the motor/tranny to move around too much. Partially causes a lot of the low speed bucking that you hear complaints about, and don't do much for reducng wheel hop, and the stock ones don't last long if you drive hard.

Well . . . . I LOVE it !

Seems like I've done mods to take care of most of the complaints ?

Plenty of power for a "stock" 2-Litre of this size/weight, AWESOME handling, this car is a total hoot in the twisties ..... Ran a road called Latigo Canyon in Malibu .... WAAAYYYY faster than I've ever gone up it on my Triumph Sp3 ....

..... gas mileage, yeah thats it ...
.... if we needed gas mileage that bad we would have bought the Scion (my wife and I test drove the sA, Miata, and Vibe GT just before buying the P5 ! )

LOVE:
-- the styling of the car...hard to believe how many compliments i get on my P5 considering its an economy car..
-- The handling is just awesome..
-- I have no real complaints about gas consumption
-- I love the stock stereo...good sound and appearance..
HATE:
-- STOCK TIRES!!!! on dry pavement they are good..other than that they are pieces of s***..
-- Bouncy ride... while the suspension is pretty tight for an economy car sometimes it just doesnt provide the comfort i would like..
-- Ugly Cloth interior.... wish i would have gotten leather
-- lack of rear seating room..
-- the brakes squeak everymorning when i first start the car then they quiet down..bothers me nonetheless

Love: Overall exterior look; stock red glowing interior; taillights; handling.
Hate: Uncomfortable back seats (although I'm usually driving); slightly underpowered, but good enough; non-lighted sun visor mirrors.

-Needs more power,no,...way more power
