Hey everybody. So I got my protege5 about a month ago, and have been driving it for the last couple weeks. It's my first car I've owned and the first standard car I've driven regularly. It's a pretty fun car to drive.

Here's some pics first,

Now the best part... I posted a wtb on Kijiji, a guy's mom emails me and says her son has one that he would sell. Went and checked it out, 83000 kms, 5 speed, rear tint, electronic rust protection, upgraded speakers, alpine deck, 2 winter tires on rims, trailer hitch, very clean with one scratch and one dent in the passengers door (which he must have popped out cause I can't find it anymore).. for $3000. (nana) Got it safetied, paid the taxes and it's mine.


Plans for the car include: an amp and probably a sub as soon as I get paid. Can't listen to anything until I hook up an amp which is driving me nuts. New shifter knob (kinda broke the one that's on there). Paint the rims a glossy black. Maybe a hd lip to see what it looks like.

Whatever this thing does,

I didn't pay for it so doesn't matter to me if it actually works or not.
I was thinking black just because the rear left rim is stained.

Yeah that thing gives the car a charge and keeps the rust molecules of the metal together so it doesn't desintegrate and rusts, idk how well it works but u can google it and it will explain it better

Interesting piece there. I'm not sure what that does to your vehicle's ground system, but more importantly, is your car rust free?
