What compression ratio for forged build?

What compression ratio have you guys with the forged motors been going with? Just curious. I'm contemplating my future with this car and I know if I plan to get more serious with the bolt-ons I want to put forged rods and pistons in first before I find the limits of the stock ones.

Also... does anyone know if anyone with a forged motor has popped it for no apparent reason?

I actually sent my car off to Church's Automotive Testing in southern California after I started to hear rod-knock. It'll probably be another 2-3 weeks before I get it back. I'm replacing my pistons and rods with the Arias pistons and Pauter rods at 9.0 compression. I have a reworked K04 from protegegarage and from what Ken tells me, they're warrantied to 24 PSI so high boost, here I come~!
