what color to paint rims?

mine are white. PITA to clean however. I've seen the yellow rimmed MP3. Someone took a pic of it a while back. painting them any color would look better.

how do you paint your rims like what is the process

someone correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe
sand,
paint,
paint again,
maybe paint again
clear coat,
clear coat again...

wheels typically get more s*** kicked up on them than most other parts, and require a lot of clear coat because of it.....

Sand with what like what level paper or what kinda?
And Paint with what like what kind of paint?
and what type of clear coat?

very interested guys looking to do it also

you can use like a 400grit sandpaper than you can use duplicolor wheel paint and then duplicolor high performance clear. that is one way.

edit: I'll be doing my stockers when it gets warm in bronze.

does anyone recommend doing that to the mp3 rims? mine are really curbed, have them welded back in, now theres nasty spots on them. i got 2 more curbed rims i gotta get welded or mayb sanded and filled myself.

Yellow rims.

So Bronze it is. Anyone have a good brand of paint along with a paint code they could recommend???

duplicolor makes a wheel paint in bronze.

wurth makes a color matched BBS gold wheel paint, although it's expensive. $20/can
