Ok as some of you may know from my other thread about questioning my clutch slipping well its doing it again and more frequent whenever i get into boost at more then half throttle, so im going to need to get a new clutch. my question is what clutch is the best for me to get? i dont track the car but maybe a few times a year, i was thinking the stage 3 spec with lightwieght flighwheel or the ACT but im not sure if there are any other clutches offered or what is the best. thanks!

I am looking at these casually for next year. But ACT offers a street clutch that handles 365 lbs of torque. SPEC has quite a range of products for our car. Mine is still good after much abuse and 36000. Maybe you have a linkage problem or something inexpensive! I am sure there are more than the 2 i mentioned. Look at the SPEC to get an idea of what you want from it if you do need replacement. If you go high performance you might find that engagement is too grabby? and the pedal pressure might give your leg a workout!

I currently have 60k on mine, im not to worried about clutch pressure being a hydrolic clutch it shouldnt change to much. im just trying to get some feedback and see if anyone else has any other brands.

sorry bout that, and of course Protege garage and Ken can give you excellent advice to get you what you want and or need.

I've been looking around and have seen some recommendations for the Spec Stage2Plus for a DD. Still looking to see if anyone has had issues with the lightweight flywheel being too light causing stalling or rough idles. So far no definitive answer.
