What BPV to add?

I know from reading prior posts that the best BOV setup is to run a dual setup. So my question is what kind of BPV do I add to my existing setup? Where can I get this BPV from? and which pipe should it go on? What other parts do I need besides the BPV (hoses, clamps, etc.)?

Thanks!

almost any bpv, I'm going with the type S recirculated and a type R. I like it, sounds different from most that I hear.

So wait you are going to use 2 greddy BOV's? I thought you were supposed to use a BOV and a BPV?? I have the greddy types now what do I need to add to eliminate turkey and stalling? I thought from prior posts that I just somehow add a BPV to my setup??

are you using the stock pipes? If not and your using a metal hard pipe you can have another flange welded on. thats what I did and now I have two bov, just one is resirculated and thats what makes it a bi pass valve not a blow off valve. Good luck, oh and everyone is ignoring this post because this has been talked about to death.

forge motorsports diverter valve

i use the reflex, it was good on price, and very well built

whether that's the "best" setup is arguable. It might work well, but IMO there are other slightly more elegant solutions that work. I use the turbosmart dual port valve, with virtually no turkey, and no stalling. Plus it sounds goooood. :) It's on my cold pipe about 12" from the TB. Doing it again, I'd probably put on a turbosmart kompact dual port (just smaller, suitable for ~15 psi.) Go Fast Bits (Australia) also makes a dual port that I assume would work. link to pic here

Thanks for your input! Thats exactly what I was looking for. I realize that this subject has been talked about to death, but I have read throughthose and I still had questions.

I think it is pretty lame that people make countless threads on some girl named kristin with absolutely no purpose. Here I have a honest question an people ignore it to post useless information about some girl.
Thats just f'ed up???

Thanks all!

That sounds like it would be definately cleaner and easier. This may be my route. I could sell my type-s and replace it with a dual port.

Thanksfor the link!

NP. if you want a used dual port, I know a guy on TOProtege.com who's selling one. send "thekid" a PM either here or there asking him about it.

You can also relocate your maf and vent the type s.
I am currently venting the type-s with poor results. Now I dont know what to do? SHould I relocate my MAF or add a BPV, or just get the Dual port? I am confused, but thanks for the options. I will have to toss it up for a little bit.

Do you have any friends with BOVs or turbo cars. A few friends an I have gotten together to try and collect all the BOVs we have a few of the turbo xs line, apexi, the greddy ones and most of the hks ones we trade and its fun to hear your car sound different, I had the hks racing bypass and its the same flange as the type s r rs so they fit.

I think it is always better to recirc if you can... especially at low boost applications. Just add a BPV and you will be happy with the results.

No I really have no friends that are in to this type of car. All my friends are more into modifying domestics (TA, camaros, Mustangs). I honestly think I have the only turbo car out of all my friends. I guess thats why I have so many questions.

I would like to do a little BOV exchanging, anyone in MI interested? I am willing to drive for helpful advice!

I'm really happy with my boostsciences bpv (the 'reflex diverter valve' as its called). Eventually i'll be running that with an HKS BOV.
