what are you guys using for spark plugs?

NGK V-Power. 99% of ppl say even w/ the iridiums, there's no noticeable gains. The V-Powers are only $2-3 each (I think I got the set for $10-ish @ Advance Auto)

I have NGK Platinums. I wanted just the stock plugs because I'd rather have them changed (or change them) at reasonable intervals but the shop put in platinums unbeknownst to me. Total bill for Plugs alone (i.e. no installation: $58 CAD!)

Oh, no difference in performance.

Been using ZFR5F-11 for awhile. The Man had a post on these, they have a longer threaded section, supposed to get better firing than the stick plug. Have been using them for about 60k or so, into my 3rd set. No issues.

Irridiums and Platinum plugs are used for extended intervals. That's why you don't see gains.

I too use NGK ZFR5F-11.

the fact that the engine only puts out under 100whp probably says why you wouldn't notice a difference with any plugs. In my prelude, the ngk platinums made a very noticable difference in the way it idled, revved up, etc... i've tried 3 sets in the p5 with no change at all.

What am I using for spark plugs?

I'm using 1/2 inch solid copper rod that I ran threads onto. I cut a slot on one end and stuck the wires on the other. + 10HP

:D

No, really, I'm just using spark plugs as spark plugs.

When I first did NGK iridiums I felt no diff. But after a couple of mods, I replaced them with a new set after 35000 miles and the idle and revv is a little smoother. But still no diff in hp or mpg.

ok, I went with NGK OEM. And this was after installing them!
