my school is cheap so they make everyone use Autodesk Arch Design....
but im going into automotive engineering so i need to learn how to use Auto Cad... i used to have a bootleg copy but my cousin needed it back so i need it again b.c i got a new computer...

In the real world unless you have allot of 3D work the newest version of Autocad LT 2002 should do everything you need. I didn't believe it myself until we bought it, at one time the LT package was just a more powerfull MS draw program. But its everything ver 14 is minus the render & 3D crap

Me. Im just a designer I've been using AutoCAD since 1988. I've worked for some of the worlds largest engineering companies specializing in Steel Mills.

what kind of engineering? im thinking of doing electrical and mechanical.... i want to do something in motorsports but i dont know how realistic that is..

I'm sitting on my comfy leather couch, feet on the coffee table, cold adult beverage in reach,connected to the Internet by a WI-Fi connection (wireless!) to a cable modem while watching Speed Channel. Life is good.
Of course I'd rather be driving, but that ain't happening tonight.
