i need a new mp3 ecu
or what would be a good replacement option?

i have a boosted mp3 and somehow the ecu got water logged?
no idea how it happened, car sat for about a month in the snow. when the weather got nicer i went to start the car, it cranked but wouldnt fire.
car was getting no signal from the ecu

when we pulled the ecu out it was all rusted up...

anyway i know what new ecus cost, what else would work for my setup?

I have heard some MP3 guys sell their MP3 ECUs and go with the MP5 ECUs and then get an engine managment system. So if you have some kind of EM you could try to get a plain ecu. Hope it helps.

A) get a p5 ecu. its WAY better for turbo systems. the best for turbo systems actually
B) get a p5 ecu.......then goto the dealer and have them flash it to an MP3. Since you have an MP3 they'll flash any compatible ECU to the MP3 version for you. since your out of warranty they may charge you a lil, but a P5 ECU is WAY easier to find for cheaper (junk yard).
