wga e-clip

I just replaced my stock, leaking wga with the atp one. install was, well, interesting. I was ready to burn the damn car at point. that top intercooler pipe just does not want to come off does it? I've got it all done except replacing the e-clip. I lost the original one taking it off, then lost two others trying to put them on. I have two questions:

what size e-clip do I need?

how the hell do I put it on? looking for suggestions from those of you who have done this already.

You can get an assortment pack from the autoparts store. It should have on that will work. If I rememnber correctly, it will not have a perfect size, but you can squeeze the closest size a little with pliers to make a tight fit. The e-clip will just snap on. A set of long curved pliers made it a lot easier.

I used a hairpin style clip with a pair of med. size needle nose pliers, and it still holds to this day
