Anyone else find their pedals exceptional slippery if you shoes are at all wet? Maybe its just me?

No issues at all, and I even wear rubber boots sometimes....don't ask.

Matter of fact, this issue has never crossed my mind. Then again, I've had medal pedals on my last 3 cars....msp/mp3/ms6

Yes, wet feet, slippery pedals. The fan idea will become my normal routine now, Thanks Speed6 guy..............

I agree, Ive noticed that my pedals are slippery when wet, I have to whipe them on my poor floormats :(

anyone thought of bringing this to mazda corporate's attention? it has to be some sort of hazards right? If anyone else thinks it might be let me know and I'll start to make some phone calls.

I noticed it too..although my previous IS has metal pedals too...just that now i'm more careful on the clutch when it's wet..

Just a matter of recalibrating your mind. If you are out in wet conditions, wipe your feet (at least your left one) off on the floor mat before driving off. It isn't a hazard unless you don't have a brain. If you have a problem with this then buy a different car. I'm not trying to insult anyone, but talking about calling the company for this is why liability lawyers make a ton of money today. If we would all use a little common sense and be responsible then there would be a lot more things for us to enjoy.
