Went wider!!

Was thinking about going 235x45x17 to get some lighter rims (lower unspring weight) on the car and stay close to the stock wheel/tire diameter (about 1/4" smaller).

Any thoughts on whether this is a good idea handling-wise? Sidewalls will be taller so there will be a bit more sidewall flex when cornering, but not sure if that will be offset by the reduction in unsprung weight.

Please advise as I'm not a suspension guru.
