I just can't figure out why VW doesn't give ppl what they want & offer the right tune to go w/ the 2.0 FSI. It's not a bad engine, and in Audi TTs form it cranks 260 [?] hp. I read a mag article one time where a tuner shoehorned some kind of - get this - twin turbo V12 in the hood. 600+ hp, insane. I think it was even, if not a straight VW effort, at least sponsored by them...I'd buy a 600+hp 3000 lbs car. Where do I sign? My credit is good! (headbang)

Yeah it was the the GTI W12... though it was shoehorned behind the front seats, not the hood.

im pretty sure those wheels were custom made for that car and were a rediculous amount of money. Those are the only 4 wheels that exist

Bought a new (well new to me) speed3 Saturday.

2007 Speed3 Sport with 76k on the clock. Just needs brakes and shocks/struts.

Just got done doing brakes, wheels, boost hoses, BOV, wiper delete, radio and shift knob. As soon as I can, I am ordering Koni Yellows, Tanabe springs, Defi Boost gauge, Defi EGT, AEM wideband, CPE Gauge pod, ATP Downpipe, Ingalls Stiffy, and new Nitto rubber.

Which should be tomorrow except the Koni's are on backorder until at least end of this month.

i remeber somewhere i read the W12 was a BEAST to drive, and was really pretty un-usable.......

but man, what a blast it had to be trying to work that thing around.

a 2007 could be purchased new in 2006, so that means 4 years ago. That's less than 20K a year, which is pretty average for a lot of people.
