So my mom owns a flower shop out in the 'burbs and today she gets this package in the mail. It was from J&M Company, 123 Main, Los Angeles, CA (Cant remember the exact address, but it was equally as generic). It was addressed to Groeside Flowers. Her shop is Groveside Flowers.
She thought it might have been something she ordered (she recently placed a bunch of orders for homecoming crap), so she opened it up. It was a brown envelope which had bubble wrap on the inside. When she opened it, she noticed that it was actually a UPS mailer envelope turned inside out. Inside the bubblewrap, there was nothing but a wad of tissue , wrapping something. She undid the tissue and there were 3 old, dead white flowers. The kind you pin on something, like they had clasps on the back, but some of the clasps were broken, and the flowers were stained on the back, like dark brown stains.
She was like "WTF is this s***" so she calls Information to get the number for this "company", and there is no company listed at that address. So she gets the numbers for the adjacent buildings. Disconnected. Disconnected. Lady answers who cant speak English. Rings enternally. So 4 attemps, 4 failures. A J&M Company exists, but out in Monterey.
Its 100% shady off the charts. Who would do this s*** though, I don't understand, and for what? I told her to put that s*** away, don't touch it and wash her hands and s***. The only asshole that I personally know that would pull this kind of s*** would be my dad, who is a stark raving lunatic on a good day. But he doesnt live in LA.
