I was slow at work the other day and decided to big my car into the shop and change the oil and rotate the tires and noticed when rotating the tires the inside edges of the both driver side tires were begining to chop and both pass. tires were fine. So I balanced all of the tires and rotated the two chopped tires to the rear and after finishing with the oil change put the car onto the alignment rack to check the alignment. Everything was pretty much spot on in the alignment nothing was out of spec bad enough to cause the tires to chop. Just so it is clear the car is bone stock and still on factory tires and the car is not driven hard at all as it usually has my kids in it. Was just wondering if anyone else has run into this and whatelse I should look for as to what would cause this. The last thing I want to do is invest in new tires that chop 20K after I buy them. thanks
