Ya i don't really think that guy felt anything. The green car in the front of the red truck.. i believe I remembered reading about that on another site. This teenager and his girlfriend was cruzin and he was showing off to her flying 80+ wieving in and out of traffic.. and BAM! I think they saw what the vette guy saw right before they died.

probably. my uncle (firefighter) was telling me about an accident they rolled up on. two guys in a truck were speeding in heavy fog and didn't see the stopped traffic and a truck with rebar hanging off the end of the flatbed. needless to say, the guy doesn't have a face anymore and the red flag was laying on his chest. at least it was instant.

How about this one:
Haz Mat I-15 - Nov. 2006.webp
This was an SUV that rearended a semi on the I-15 in Fallbrook.
SUV caught fire and quickly spread to the semi carrying amonia and bleach :( Not good.
The Driver of the SUV died.

Or how about this:
P1010008.webp
An Avacodo truck was struck by a dodge dakota, and rolled over. Both drivers were released at scene.

Wow dude that is an amazing picture.. you can see the backed up traffic WAY in the background. Anybody got a snickers?

Yea, we closed the freeway down for about 6+ Hours.
The cars your seeing are about 2 miles away, it was backed up at least 10 miles.

I hope they had a whole box of snickers.

loved the last one, where they use the firemen put out their fire truck... at least they responded quickly.

It's a fun job, always something different. We get a lot of good Car accidents where I work.

No s***. My best friend is the son of a (retired now) LA fire chief. In the age before digi-cams, on the night my bud got his drivers licence, his dad broke out with a "scrap-book" filled with polaroids of alcohol/drug related traffic DOA's. He basically said "I'm proud that you've passed your test, but I want you to know that this is a privilage and an enormous responsibility, never get behind the wheel if you are impaired ... if you find that you are, call me. I promise that I'll always be available ... but we will talk the next day. Oh, and take a look at this album ..." The way my friend tells it, not a word was spoken during the time the pages were flipped ... and well, he influenced me with what he saw.

It's funny to me that I learned how to take high-speed evasive actions on muddy dirt roads that became paved parkways for multi-million dollar homes in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village California. My kids will be going to Bondurant when the are 15.

yea that sucked, it was a brand new fire engine they were training on. I guess better to happen during training than on the way to a call.
