Hey guys -
Very new here but have read and read and read in the past. I've had my MS3 for a year now. Just getting around to minor modding.
I put in a AWR rear mount (88) a week ago. Everything has been great, except for pretty hefty vibrations at low RPM.
Today I'm getting groceries, about to park. I hear a quiet a dull thump, and my floorboard raises a little.. driver's side, in the middle of the carpet. The car seems fine, except for this little hump in the middle of the carpet, and the car is making odd quiet noises now. I can't pinpoint where it's coming from, but it sounds an empty coke can falling on the carpet. Quiet, dull, not a scary sound but definitely new. What is this??!?!
I put the car on ramps, but I don't see anything weird. All the bolts involved in the motor mount replacement are still there and tight. I brought my whole socket set down there and made sure no bolts were loose. I don't see any bent metal, or any sign of a problem, but then again I'm a n00b. Please help if you know what might be up. Thanks guys!
