Weird noise on back of the engine

Hi, i have a 2007 mazdaspeed 6 and just about 15mins ago i park the car and heard a weird noise. I pop open the hood and heard a weird rattle, almost sounded like a rock rattling inside my exhaust behind the rear of the engine by the firewall below the turbo. It only happens at idle and it happens at random. Do you think its my engine mount going on the car? Its not the turbo because its boosting fine and the transmission is shifting smooth. What do you guys think?

ive had the same problem on my speed3. it hasnt done it in quite some time but randomly ive gotten that sound in the past. i think its the transmission. it did it for me and i swear it was the transmission because ive stopped it once by just pressing the clutch. i thought it was the throw out bearing but when i brought it to the dealer everything checked out. ??? i know the sound your talking about. irritating.

Its not doing it today but im going to keep checking on it.

ive gottern that sound lol but its sounds like my tranny to i know my strut tower bar dose that sound too because when i popped the hood i could see it hit the intercooler pipping but idk its mad wierd

You sure it's not the evap purge regulator doing it's job?
