Weird Noise From Bypass Valve after Turbo Inlet Install.

They are quieter in general but then there can be this barking noise when the BPV releases.

So when you hear your Tin can noise is it when the turbo is spooling or is it between gears?

tin can when spooling. not like honda civic ricer exhaust tin can, but if you can imagine air running against metal, like on the cold air intake. The inlet I have is a custom one I boguht off this forum for $75 shipped, made of intake aluminum and a blue angled coupler at the bottom.

I dont get any barking, but my bypass valve did get quieter, and I do get an after blow off sound, sort of like the valve is huccupping, but i loosened it and it went away.

I researched that for my valve and its when the valve opens and releases but still has a little bit left inside and it hiccupps it out I guess. If its loosened it will release all the air the first time.

Cool. I may try an HTP and see how that sounds. Thanks for the info

Just installed my HTP and it sounds SO MUCH BETTER!!!!! The bark is gone and I only get a light moan at partial throttle release.

The moan is kinda like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1Yzq3ACtb8

Nothing like what I was getting with the COBB which made a sound like my turbo was blowing up. So it seems the noise was all the silicon Inlet
