Weird noise at about 2k rpm 5spd

I bought M2 earlier in the week. Car only has alittle over 15k miles on it. I noticed driving over the last few days a slight kind of grinding noise while accelerating at about 2k. Anyone else had this problem.

Did a little drive to bank today, it sounds more like a little rattle.

I would check the heat shields first. A rock or debris stuck between the shield and whatever other part are common places on cars to create a low RPM rattle.

Definitely check the heat shield. This has happened in all of my previous cars...

my heat shield is driving me crazy right now in first gear between 2-3k rev. Gotta fix it.

I just started having the same issue. It annoys me to no end, can't wait to have a few free minutes to fix it.
