Weapon R Secret Weapon Intake

Does anyone have any experience with the Weapon R Secret Weapon SRI? I've found several reviews online, but not any from actual MSP owners...opinions?

NO! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD NO! its crap! Weapon R in general is bad, i had a lot of their products on my old drift miata, and none of them fit perfectly, even with modification, their customer support is TERRIBLE, and almost non of the intakes, or anything like that made any difference to performance, i VERY SOON sent everything back, and got a refund. only after 6 months of being ignored, and all that. so...from PERSONAL experience. DO NOT go with Weapon R ESPECIALLY the Secret Weapon. what ever they send you will say "direct fit" on the box, and online, but on the instructions says "can be modified to be a direct fit"

I would order an FMIC kit and make an SRI with the leftover piping, the entire FMIC kit with a BOV will cost about the same as a name brand CAI/SRI and will give you actual gains instead of just making the turbo louder.

What full FMIC/BOV kit would cost as much as a CAI/SRI? Intakes are around $200, most FMIC kits are around a grand....

Honestly in the long run unless you don't plan on much more than an intake it's best to spend the money on the FMIC kit.

Ok, thanks. I'll give that a look, and see if I can understand it enough to go that route.
