We were on the subject of art when...

Hey Diane, did you teach yourself to draw people or did you take a class? I can draw horses like it's nobody's business but for the life of me can't nail the nuances of humans. Help me out chicka! :D

You can do anything with time and practice. :D Dedicate yourself and you can do it!

Actually I did teach myself, starting back in 2nd grade (LONG time ago).

Twenty years of experience began with horses actually. :) I was obsessed with them and my passion turned to art. Then I became obsessed with women (yes, I knew I was gay at age 10) and quickly perfected the female form. I can remember getting in trouble in school for drawing beautiful lingerie clad ladies. :D

I'm not sure about you, but I mimic the likenesses of people from memory. Some people need to learn by having live models. it just depends on the person. I say, if you really want to learn, to take a class. i still need to work on the male form. :D

You're never too old to learn. :)
