Hey Diane, did you teach yourself to draw people or did you take a class? I can draw horses like it's nobody's business but for the life of me can't nail the nuances of humans. Help me out chicka!

You can do anything with time and practice. Dedicate yourself and you can do it!

Actually I did teach myself, starting back in 2nd grade (LONG time ago).

Twenty years of experience began with horses actually. I was obsessed with them and my passion turned to art. Then I became obsessed with women (yes, I knew I was gay at age 10) and quickly perfected the female form. I can remember getting in trouble in school for drawing beautiful lingerie clad ladies.

I'm not sure about you, but I mimic the likenesses of people from memory. Some people need to learn by having live models. it just depends on the person. I say, if you really want to learn, to take a class. i still need to work on the male form.

You're never too old to learn.
