Took my car in last Thursday, they called me up Friday and said that mine needed to be replaced and they had to order the part. Tech had a vacation day on Saturday, was told I would get my car back Monday. As told to me by the service department when I called yesterday afternoon:
Apparently, there is a back order on the parts to fix this. Mazda didn't think as many of these would need to be replaced as there are. Was told if they can't locate the parts by Friday, they wouldn't come in until March. Of course, my car is in pieces at the dealer and they want me to leave it there until they can get the part in and installed. In a Mazda 6 Wagon loaner, but it feels like a big ass boat compared to mine.
