What is involved in removing the moldings? Once removed, can they be put back on? I very much like the clean look!!!

All I know is that if you look closely at my door moldings you can see 3 or 4 scuffs...those could have been dings which would be visible from a distance...therefore, mine are staying on even though the car on the first page of this thread looks totally bad ass.

Those wheels look better on the Protege than the RX-8! How about removing the dealer license plate frame and stick-on name under "Protege 5".

Sweet...I don't know why all the P5 owners don't remove the side moldings.
I may take them off my sedan. So they are just taped on then? I didn't want to have holes to fill and painting.

Just adhesive. If you are lucky lots of the adhesive will come off the car when you peel the moldings off. Then it's just clean the doors up with some 3M adhesive remover and wax em up when you're done.

wholly crap dude...you must have spent some time doing that...it shows...its probably the cleanest shiniest black P5 I've seen in a long time...nice work...I'm sure most of us know how hard it is to wax any cars to that detail...
