wash n wash but it still wont come off

Black Mica Speed #538
I wash my car once a week and no matter what i use or how hard i scrub i just cant seem to get the bug guts off of my baby i mean like its baked on there and i just dont know what to do any help thanks a bunch

Turtle Wax has a bug and tar remover, it seems to work well to get the really hard stuff off...

Get one of those scrubber sponges with the netting material on one side. Takes a little effort, but I have always got every little trace of bug guts off with it.

Dont use the sponge with the netting as it can cause scratches. Try Orange Clean ... just make sure you rewax the area. You can also clay bar them off, and wax the area as well.

Huh?? I used one for two years on the same car and never got a single scratch. I even used it on the doors and lower feners for tar. As long as you keep it wet and soapy you shouldn't have a problem.

ya, no rough sponge. use simple green or any of the high concentrated cleaners and always rewax after, you'll have good luck with those products.

The one I am talking about is not rough. It has a very thin layer of soft netting on one side and a regular sponge on the other. The netting is just think enough to help pull textured stains off w/o scratching. I'm not talking about those plastic netting sponges used for scouring pans.

eagle one has an all purpose cleaner that they will only sell to professional detailers. Its about 12dollars a gallon but it is the s***. My team swears by it. YOu wet the front of the car and then liberally spray this stuff all over the front and the hood. Start washing the rest of the car and when your done just hose off the front and the bugs will be 99% gone. The 1% that is left spray again and apply light pressure witha sponge and your car is now bug free. Its pretty awesome stuff

$10 simple, safe solution:

Clay Magic kit (found at Pep Boys, etc).

Clay, when used properly, will remove every surface contaminant and leave your paint smooth as silk. Just be sure to wash before and wash/wax immediately after application. Clay bars will leave your paint & clearcoat completely exposed to the elements.

Before you wash your car get some towels and drench them. Lay them on your front bumper. Come back 15 mins later and they will whipe right off. You can actually put them on the front of the car and start washing the rest. But you have to be careful cause if any water runs down the hood and onto the towels they will usually slide off.
