Warnings, Dash Lights and Issues...Help

So my 2019 Mazda CX-5 Grand touring decided to show me the codes below today 11/29/2025. It showed up on the infotainer center under the settings. Also on the instrument panel there is a light that is a triangle with an exclamation point in it.

I have cleaned the windshield and the sensor eyes on windshield, and the front emblem on the front grill. Light still on and reading on the dash, Front Radar Sensor System Malfunction and flips to Smart Break System Malfuntion. It will not with those lights on even let me put the car on cruise control.

Who can help besides I will take it to the dealership Monday… has anyone ever seen this on there 2019 CX-5 Grand Touring? I have a newer battery that I installed on 12/2023.

On April of 2025 I had repairs done to the front end of the vehicle and they put a brand new emblem on it that was destroyed from the minor accident. So the emblem with the sensors should still be under warranty.

If it doesn't have snow/Ice coated and sticking to the radar unit/front emblem, I'd next suspect some type of fault with your replacement unit ... Alignment? Calibration? Wiring harness?

A scan tool or app such as FORScan would give you more details about the specific problem.

You'll need the FORScan lite app for your phone ($11) and a Bluetooth OBD adapter (you can likely by the OBD dongle from your favorite online retailer cheaper) . There's a "products" tab on the FORScan website with links for purchases.

Thank You, I took the car to the dealer yesterday I do know that they said Mazda has a class action law-suit. now with something to the infotainment system. So that has to be updated for FREE. SO IF ANYONE HAS A MAZDA LOOK UP THE CLASS ACTION LAW-SUIT FOR THE GHOSTING, that’s where your infotainment center starts randomly flickering and moving by it self.


They are still trying to find out what is blowing the SBS CODES AND OTHER TWO CODES. That have to do with the radar or front emblem. So the waiting begins….
