Warcraft 3, undead campaign, chapter 8

It's the one where that loser undead guy you brought back from the dead is trying to summon that other badass guy and takes like THIRTY MINUTES to do it (no I am NOT alttabing to the game just to get the names right, if you've reached/passed this mission u know which one it is).
It kind of felt like some of my university classes. The mission lasts 30 minutes. In the first 28 minutes, it's pretty easy, annoying but not difficult. And the last 2 minutes are f***ing impossible. I mean, you can only build 90 FOOD, not 90 units, which translates roughly to 30-40 MAXIMUM active units assuming you offed all your acolytes, but there's about 50 enemy units RUSHING you. It kind of begs the question.... WTF?!!?!?!?
Ok now that I've ranted, who's been able to pass this chapter, and how?

Well first of all this game is so bad-ass if you dont own it go buy it now... Yes im talking to you.

As for your question, first thing I did was build about 12 of those spider guys to protect Kel'Thuzad The Lich guy. Then i sent 5 more acolytes to get more gold from the mine down below. Next i built about 60 Ziggurats sounding the Lich. From all the waves that come in none can get through except the last wave. Just have sopme acolytes keep repairing those Ziggys.

Like I said the last wave is the one that gets through but by the time they do get through hes done summoning they can't take down all those ziggurats fast enough. Oh and yea the end credits are the best it has outtakes, and also a little battle with SPacre MArines and Zerg and Space Orcs, from Starcraft. I hope that shows they are working on a Starcraft 2.

Sorry, I just started playing again today and I'm on Mission 4 of the undead...speaking of which...gotta go play...

I tried taking them on in their base, VERY DIFFICULT. But yeah, I ended up building about 40 zigs all around, lots of men, spiders, and mages (or the equivalent)... I got over it eventually, but it's quite difficult, especially those darn tanks. I had to build a few cats to take care of those.
