I changed my pic but you can't see what I wrote.
From top to bottom, left to right:

Oil Pickup
Pressurized oil
Rotors suck up oil on pickup side and sqeeze it out to create pressure
Pressure relief (spring & piston go in here)
If pressure is too high, oil overcomes spring/piston and returns to pickup side

I plan on adding a washer to the spring/piston combo so that the relief pressure will be slightly higher to take care of the addition of a turbo (robs some of the pressure from the engine).

Turbos don't like too high of oil pressure though, it'll blow the seals. A high volume pump is a better idea for turbo.

thanks duane. now hitting the streets in arizona, 0 cylinder, 0hp, OIL PUMP ! Wooooooooooo

I have a bunch more pictuers of it and all the pieces... I can throw them up on here too if you want.. and they are much brighter ;) LOL.

Has nobody bothered with an oil accumulator set-up yet? Arrrrghhhh! Well, then again, if you've got the engine apart, a high volume pump would be best. But still...for those of us who have less than no desire(or time) to drop the engine, I think this would be the way to go. Especially considering the oil-starvation-while-cornering issue. Just a little more cash and hopefully I can do this. Along with a list of other things of course..... (peep)

There is no high volume pump.. the one that is sold by a company out there is just a ported out stock oil pump... which you can have done yourself at a shop for like 50 bucks.. so not worth the pricetage they have on it.

I will eventually do the oil accumulator, but I'm out of money right now and just don't have the time... I just want to get it up and running and ready to go... and we'll see!
