WA meet up in April!!

Yeah, Paul and I got off very easy. I don't know what Paul said, but with the state patrol person that spoke with me, I just was straight up honest with him. He asked how fast I was going, I said I ddon't know, but probably around 85. See anything wrong with that? Yes, I was going too fast. Why did you do that? Well, I have a performance vehicle, and I saw an empty road in front of me, and I couldn't resist the temptation. He told me that since I respected him by pulling over and not running, and that I was totally honest with him, he'd return the favor and let me go with a warning.

No, I didn't hook up with anyone....BUT Paul did loan Danielle to me for a little while there. Didn't steam up the windows in my car though....:( Oh well.

ya i might have gotten the ticket.... remember the muckilteo beach incident? i got really lucky with the one, what was it like 85 in a 25 or so

That's about how it went for me man, though the guy told me he had me clocked at 74, but agian I truely don't think they actually had ANYTHING on any of us aside from hearing us comeing through the tunnel. I was just being straightup and cool about it, prettymuch said that I'm just here with this group, and everyone tookoff, I was trying to not lose sight of them cause I didn't know where we were going. I too was told that they respected that I pulled over when I didn't absolutely have to and was being honest and nice. hence no ticket. Hopefully D can get hers dropped I'm really almost positive that they didn't have any form of radar out or on anyone, and the mixed stories of speeds seems odd to me.

Eitherway, I think the sacrificial 3 managed to get everyone else off the hook. cause elsewise there were a couple cars there just ready to chase...

in reality I wouldn't doubt that there were some speeds well into tripledigit range being done, but I don't know who would do that, certainly not a law-abiding bunch the likes of us. ;)

Yeah. I'm not gonna say if I hit triple digits or not. But whoever was around, they know. They know....

I know, but hey, screw the negative people. I like it, and for those that dig 'em, more power to them. For those that don't, well, it's not on their car, is it?

i have been saying that about my car forever..... if you like it ok, if not ok.... it's not your car ....... mine does what it was built for..... winning shows

Hey Mike... Thanks for that pic you took of my car as we were entering the tunnel! That blurryness looks great!

By the way, I emailed you the video... If the file was too big for your email, I'll try to get a friend to host the vid.

First off the video is SAWEET... and secondly has anyone posted pics of our rides at the meet?? I'd love to see some of them. THanks

I am now very very very VERY sad guy... I decided to stay in Bellingham on saturday because first of all it was raining so, instictively i stayed and figured it was going to just be a rain out... But NOPE! shietty.... now i know that we will meet in rain or shine... Mental note.... CHECK!

Yes, I remember that one.
But this time we were way beyond 85. LOL!

I was wondering why you weren't there man.. could'a called us up. I was gonna call but I figured by the time you got down from b'ham, we'da split up or somethingorother. the rain actually didn't really drag us down much. Made driving around a little bit after the cop incident kinda interesting at best, but we had some nice windows of non-rain. our photo-op at the golf course was a freking downpour, as was the would-be-cool sans rain and aprehension from previous cop-incident drive to chris's house..
