First I have to give a HUUUUUGGGGEEEEE THANKS TO Ryoga28 for helping me out with this.
I just did this and took a quick drive around the block.
What I've noticed.
No more rpm's dropping
Turkey under low boost only
Nice clean greddy type S whistle sound.
Sound clips to be soon

I haven't played w/ the stiffness of the greddy yet but I will soon enough

I am leaving the pics big so you can see my setup.
I did the MAM vacuum block and ran to lines to the bpv and to the greddy.
Where the factory line for the bpv is I connected to the bottom nipple of the greddy. I haven't tried w/o that connected yet.
Let me know if you have any questions

"Turkey under low boost only" may be the flutter instead of the turkey. Greddy type s bovs are known to do that. You may have overtighten it. Try exposing about 5 threads.

well i have no boost controlller and now the car is boosting at 10psi spiking at 10.5psi instead of the 5-6psi i was running before.
how does this make sense?

Check the vac tubing coming from the bottom of the turbo to the manifold...Make sure it's not damaged or unplugged.

It should be fine, i never touched that area. would a leak make me go up a few psi?
i drove the car right before i did this today and it boosted at 5-6psi

I'll go double check it. thankx.

anyone else have input?

Yes, a leak may prevent the wastegate from opening at the stock boost. Just replace that line with a 3/16 fuel line or silicon hose and you're all set.

cool, i'll check that line and play w/ the bov after work. maybe my bov might be too tight. i'll let you guys know

having 2 bov seems like alot of money and energy spent on changing the sound. i dont know.

Paul has the boostsciences diverter valve and a greddy type s bov...I guess he could've used the oem diverter valve, but the boostscience one is much better.

the only reason i got the boost sciences one is because the stocker leaks after 7psi so i hear. or so i've read

DEALERSHIP JUST FIXED THIS ISSUE ON MY CAR THEY REPLACED THE WASTEGATE THE VALVE THAT OPENS AND CLOSES IS NO LOGER DOING ITS JOB RIGHT JUST REPLACE WASTEGATE YOU CAN RUN STOCK BOOST THEN PUT BOOST CONTROLLER ON CAUSE IF YOU PUT A BOOST CONTROLLER ON SOMETHING THATS BROKEN YOU MAY END UP WITH ALOT MORE ISSUES.

Funny we were just discussing this on the other thread. Optionally you can put the MAF on the pressure side and just use the BOV.

the vacuum line that comes off the wastegate comes to a T. (factory T)
I have the one end going to the bottom nipple on the greddy. took it off and capped it and the car still ran at 10psi. only difference was that the rpms were dropping as it used to.

i'm going to try running that vacuum line to the bpv and see what happens
