Vw R32

Also remember it's an AWD car and it's more luxioury than anything. The VR6 is a tough b**** too. A WRX and EVO are close to that wieght, so I'm not sure how it's a "heavy b****."
I think bad power:weight would be a better description as the STi and EVO pull to 60 in under 5 second and the STi needs a second shift to do it. Thats considerably faster.

that is with HPA tuning.... Look at the HP its putting out... If i get that much $ tunning i can get my MSP that fast too
Ya right, What are you Smokin Bro

I say heavy b**** cuz the 3,036 lb for a stock VW vr6 that is almost a 10% increase in weight...

Well SRT-4 owners can see that our car's weight i worth the Amp and speaker. As for MSP it still handels better with more weight, what does that tell u about srt engineering... Not that i'm bashing SRT engineers....

Actually yes I am.... Dumb Dodge Engineers. (upyours)
No, they just run high 13's stock with a good driver and with bolt ons and MBC mid 12's...(attn)

I agree, for the price they should have more power...

I really like the R32, but I'd probably buy an EVO...(spin)

Mid 12s without the MBC.

Stage 1 is 2500 dollars alone.. remember 10k difference between the cars too.. so that gives me 12.5k to mod my car... U don't think i can make my car as fast as that car for 12.5 grand.

I'm talking about handling....
Oh, it went from the R32 sucking because it was "slow" compared to the EVO-STI so I made the comparision that maybe the MSP sucks in that same standard VS the SRT-4.

No that was two different phrases..

I said R32 is heavy compared to VR6

And its slow compared to Evo-STI for the same price.
It also gets out handled by both cars.

your compareison of the SRT-4 VS MSP works only for acceleration not handling... Is that better?

You guys are right about the R32 being too much money for the performance, but you have to remember that performance isn't everything all the time. I bought an MSP when I could have bought an SRT-4 for $17k out-the-door before they were even available here in Michigan. Sure the SRT-4 can walk all over my stock Speed (straight line at least), but my car looks better, handles better, and the interior spanks that plastic jellybean.

People that have $12k to drop into a car for aftermarket parts are going to have a badass car no matter what they start with. I would, however, really like to drive a twin-turbo VW R32. Just remember, Supras aren't exactly light, either.

im totoally with you on that one

and for the spaz that is b*tching that the R32 is heavier than the VR6 its because it has 4 motion (4WD) compared to the VR6 which is only FWD... the car is a great car, the engine has much potential with out even modding everything on the internals like you have to do on lots of the mazdas just to turbo it (yes i know there are kits out there that you don't have to change much) but with a TT set-up on this thing, you will have the comfort of a VW/Audi, performance of the enzo, and the handeling of a Z06

1. 4motion = AWD not 4WD
AWD = 2 wheel most times and 4 when 1 of the orginal two slips. Computer decides.
4WD = 4 wheels all the time unless a its manually disenaged.

2. Just fyi when they went from RWD rally WRC cars to AWD the cars only gained a total weight of 75-100 lbs(i.e. MINI rally car)..... Shows u that AWD does not have to weight much. I know its racing tuned but come on 15 years later if they can't bring down the weight of AWD yet, we are in trouble.

3. Volkswagen = Cheap car in german. direct translation

4. Audi = VW

5. by transative propers Audi = Cheap cars. (math rule a=b b=c then a=c)

6. ENZO has a top speed of 217.5 mph. The TT R32 is not even close.

7. Z06 handling is nice... I agree with that...

I'm not bashing the car here... I almost got the 20th GTI instead of my MSP... But the car - money ratio here is not very good when we are talking about the 20th and R32.

the TT R32 top speed is 202mph, that is really close to 217.5......
the 0-60 for the R32 and the Enzo are tied at 3.2 sec

vw is not a cheap car out there, it translates to "peoples car"

Audi is owned by VW (even though they don't like being associated with them)

and the VR6 on the R32 is a 3.2 litre engine compared to the 2.6 or the 2.8 VR6 so that also is included in the adding of weight to the car. but honestly if you are concerned about the weight, then you can gut it, and what not....

Lamborghini = VW, so by your logic, Lamborghini = Cheap cars. Brilliant.

Since VW ownes Audi all cars are produced on the simliar line using simliar process.. that is why Audi = VW... IN fact my friend who is an I.E. works for VW but often goes to audi plants

202 and 217 is not close... for every mile you go over 60 your's drag double.

people's car = cheap car.. its the PC way of saying cheap ass POS...
