Volkswagen GTi DSG vs 6spd manual

i like the white Jetta you see in the crash comercials, i dont know why but it just has this really classy look to it. probably because of the wheels...

I still know which one I could pick. The Jetta doesn't compete with the MS6 in my book, that's like everyone drawing comparisons between it and the Evo MR.

Your right, their not. I put the R32, MS6 and Legacy in the same class...

wow that's nuts. the DSG is a pretty crazy advantage in terms of drag racing. i wonder how well it holds up to adding horsepower
It will not hold well and that is why the R36 will only have manual transmission because the DGS was not rated for that HP level.

I'm with you there bro, even the crashed up jettas look hot. Its weird because i used to hate them. It's amazing what some nice wheels will do.

From what i read the DSG is very strong, its what one of the big tuning companies uses when it twinturbo's the vw's.

? It will hold but its not going to sit there and bounce off a the revlimiter if thats what you want.

And yes the GTI and GLI either come with the 6spd standard and DSG is an option, no standard auto here.
It shifts sooner than that. When I'm taking a customer for a test drive in a DSG car and I want to take on on-ramp a little faster I have to pay extra attention to the RPMS. With Mazda's system, for example, if I'm demo-ing a 3 to a customer, I know that the gear will hold until I tell it to do otherwise.
