Is it possible to set up the Bluetooth pairing so I can use the voice prompts that are already built into a phone, rather than those built into the car? The car's voice prompts are very awkward and slow compared to those that are built into my phone. I would rather use the phone book stored in my phone with the phone's prompts. In other words, I want to use the car's voice controls to command my phone, not to command the car.

Good point.

At first it spells out all options available, every time I want to make a call. Can it be disabled?
Talking directly to phone would be much better.

If you want to skip the prompts, after pressing the call button, immediately press the mic button and then say the command you want such as "call". Also, if you've enabled downloading the phonebook to the car, you can press the call button, immediately press the mic button and say "Call John Doe", and it will recognize there is a John Doe in your phone book and prompt you, "Call John Doe?", reply with "Yes" and then it will dial. If your contact has multiple numbers in your phone, you can specify "Call John Doe at home/work/mobile" and it will call that specific number. If no number is specified it will prompt you to select one.

The voice prompts are useless unless you have a perfect American accent. How come my bank can understand me when I speak normal speed and in my own northern English accent over a phone line but the thing that is 2 feet from my face cannot?
