wow...I really like that....it's a very unique paint design, and show off ya pimpin CF, but also shows you're not to ghetto to paint it...I really like it when people with CF hoods paint some, makes it look classier, and cooler. It's also a great way to give it more texture, and to show certain highlights in it. Nice man, another show stopping job by you.!

It seems as though your hood is missing the metal flake that the rest of your car appears to have..am I deceived? It looks like it's a little off, or is it just the suin angle in the pic?

just the angle... its really hard to get the pic showing the black and c/f... the paint is the same!!

Looks real good...did you install something to keep water/rain from getting in or leave it open?

left it open, i had my old hood for 4 mths with it open and living in wa it rains alot but i have had no problems!!

thanks, i should have the c/f grill in a few weeks and i think that will look better.
so for whoever is reading i will have my auto exe rep grill for sale in black mica soon if anybody wants to put dibs on it now.

looks good man, I'm Painting my Vis c/f Evo hood around thanksgiving break from school. Did you paint it yourself or have someone else do it? Also how'd you get the hood to line up so good. Mines a little off and i was thinking the only way i could really get it right is if i put pins in it.

the fitment was great on this one (my last one which is now wrecked didnt fit perfect).
i had a bodyshop paint it and it will not be cheap.... vis used a cheap clearcoat and most of it has to be sanded off inorder to get the new paint not to fisheye. took the bodyshop 4 days to get it right and they are a great shop.
