this post is dedicated towards a s*** load of pics...

April 2008: Yellow Mazda MP3 - My first Mazda! Bought it from a semi-friend who was moving to Cali & needed to get rid of it ASAP. It was in immaculate condition, with the exception of a little rust spot on the rear wheel well.

Summer 2008: Fixed rust spot, Sold MP3 RacingHarts & picked up Gunmetal MSP RacingHarts (as well as black Depo brand headlights)

July 2009: Bought my first MSP!!! Truly fell in love with this car the moment I saw it. I wanted one in like 2005 before I could even drive. I initially settled for the MP3 because it was close, and I got a great deal on it.

Summer/Fall 2009: Part swappin time! (took the black headlights, the grill, the racingharts (both sets were gunmetal, but the ones on the MP3 were better condition & had more tread), plus a few interior pieces...

December 2009: Sold the MP3!

2010: Painted RacingHarts white, they turned out great... but as I was in the process of painting them, i found a set of MX-5 wheels for cheap, and had to make the move. Sold the white RacingHarts after painting them. Also fixed a bunch of s***...

Early 2011: it snowed... the snow melted, i got it tinted... got my chargespeed lip-lip

January 2012: Bought a 2003 Black Mica MSP... needed some TLC (new rad, exhaust manifold, piping, exhaust fix

i swapped the interiors (seats, steering wheel, shift knob, few other parts) (03 went into the 03.5 and vice versa)

i liked the orange stitching better & the 03 seats are actually a bit more comfortable. plus they were IMMACULATE. the interior looked brand new. although the 03.5 (yellow stitching) seats were pretty damn nice too, they weren't quite as nice.

June 2012: Sold the Black Mica MSP, got some new sweet parts for the 03.5 Silver MSP - JDM Benz Tails, Retrofit Headlights...

got a DG grill -

decided i wanted HALO retrofits, so i got some made & sold my other set ^

& around this time i just so happened to stumble on a titanium MSP for a good deal...

with just the projectors on, they are good... the cut-off line is set pretty low though so i'm not blinding people driving the opposite direction.

with just the halos, its about the same light emission as OEM but a brighter white color (not actually blue like in that pic). both the projectors & the halos it is damn BRIGHTT.

sweet...I have been wanting to retrofit mine but I was worried about loosing the light...OEM are pretty dang good so I didn't want to do it unless I could get at the very least the results I have now....what type of bulb did you go with? I know if you go above 4300K you loose the useable light but get the color change.....did you go with the morimoto mini's?

due to the color of the LED halos when not on, i've decided this is going to be my "accent" color -

pretty much only for stickers and very small/subtle things. i hate when people take it over-board.
