So I decided to add some vinyl wrap to a couple interior parts to see how it looked.... here's some pictures, let me know what you think! -- Keep in mind, I am a girl :) LOL

That looks cool to me. If it makes you happy, then that is all that matters. It's a bummer that the dash is textured, because it have looked really rad if you could have done the entire middle of the dash in in that color. But it still looks good to me.

How did you get the colored stitching on the shifter...and what vinyl did you use?

the shifter boot is a whole new boot...black genuine leather with pink stitching...we sent the stock to http://redlinegoods.com/ so they could actually have a template to sell...you all Mazda2 owners can now order a custom boot.

the vinyl is Oracal 651 vinyl

The stock leather is so thin and chincy glad to know if it gets worn I can replace it with something better.

I actually though about doing this. How is the vinyl holding up to everyday wear and tear?

Vinyl holds up well. It better than the average persons spray can job on interior parts. That stuff chips really easily. This vinyl is permanent in the sense it doesnt just start peeling or anything, but is easy to remove back to stock or if you want to change the color easily.

Domi's is still looking good and I have also done it in my RX8, and i love the look.

This is definite possibility. Good to know. Thanks!

just be patient with it...especially if you plan on doing it like Domi's. None of the pieces we wrapped have enough space too tuck in the vinyl...so your trimming is going to have to be perfect lol

Or the trimming would have to come off. Ouch.
